How's life?

So, question of the day. How's the beginning of 2011?

Peeps, I apologize to those who drops by very often to this dusty and rusty little journal of mine and I sort of guessed that your expression at that particular time was "this lady is being too reluctant and lazy to update her blog again......" Did I guess it correctly? Yes, I did. I enjoy reading friends' blog, I enjoy reading articles from websites, I enjoy stalking people, but do you know I'm being a not-so-hardworking lazy "bum bum" to post something up to this little journal.

The very first month of 2011 is coming to an end in 3 hours time.Time passes so quickly that I smell the scent of SPM is soon to be here instead of Chinese New Year.*smack myself*. No, I had a very great starting of 2011. To be exact, I've grown up a lot.

Number 1:
3rd of January-I was delighted, excited, happy, joyful,etc... because it was the first day of school for my final year in high school. Yes, I'm looking good and confident on the very first day. As usual, I used to ask help from friends to get me a *lucky* place since I was in primary school till now. So, this year was not an exception, I asked help from my classmates again. I thought I was fortunate and lucky enough to get a nice place when I get into class.... "I thought............". So, I was indeed *lucky* to get a place right at the corner back of my class. That doesn't make my day as you know sitting at the back has its disadvantages compared to the front. As I wandered around during the day, I told myself I've to get used to it no matter what and I tried to look at the positive side because I was "destined" to sit at the back this year. At least I've a big bunch of friends around me and they are all friendly peoples. :)

Number 2:
12th of January- It was Wednesday. I would literally give a "sigh" expression on every Wednesday because I dislike wearing PBSM uniform to school. So, this year the school implemented new rules that every students have to stay back until 5pm on Wednesday according to the Co-curriculum schedule set by the teacher. Yes, I would say this is a good way to encourage every students to go for outdoor activities and learn extra knowledge and gain experience through all kinds of activities as well. Lets skip this. I managed to get into my favourite club of all-Charity Club, and be part of the members of Kelab Olahraga & Merentas Desa this year. The important ones is left behind, I was elected to be the President of Charity Club this year and I'll set reasonable targets and achieve them one by one. *Grins*

Number 3:
We, the pupils of 5S1, were being active and cooperative this year to decorate the class board. Although it is just a simple decorated board, but this is so much better than the empty board we had last year. The fun we had, the jokes we cracked, the joy we enjoyed can never be described in words. :)

Number 4:

For the last two weeks, I spent most of the days going for Cross-country training in school as well as Taman Rakyat. This is my first time and it could probably be the last time for this training. I learned and gained experiences from this training. You must have been wondering, "Are you sure you can run?" when you came to this number. My parents asked me the same question too. Yes, I can run. Everyone does, right? Its all rely on the determination and confidence one has. Since this is my last year of high school, I decided to try out something new to make this year a memorable ones. For a beginner like me, it was indeed a hard time for me to train to go for long-distance. I faced problems, obstacles hit, low self-esteem, lose confidence easily and I'm not strong mentally and physically in the very beginning. I injured my knee, I injured my quadriceps muscles, my nerve on my thigh got injured too, and I had sore throat two days before the real cross-country competition. I almost tried to give up on the competition day before the race started. The pain was unbearable especially when I'm running. I walked abnormally too. That was basically what happened throughout the whole 2 weeks until now. I'm still walking abnormally now and I've been to 3 doctors so far. Taking medicines is my hard time now. I've to take so many tablets each day for the recovery of my leg. But,facing it with a smile everyday seriously makes my day better. :D

This is what I've to do for every 4 hours according to the traditional doctor.

Number 5:

Loads of photos were taken during this whole two weeks of cross-country training. So, let the pictures do the talk and you'll know how much fun we had throughout the training. :)

Aww, they take nice photos when I'm not around.  I missed. :(

Say HOORAY, we finished the race and our school managed to grab 3 medals.

I
I'm not supposed to jump due to my injury. So, now you know how stubborn I am and I was!

 One Malaysia. One Race. :D

Loves,
Jing
